Clothing
Yes, I have posted a picture of my underwear on the internet......
First pants, NOT COTTON! NOT JEANS! EVIL! You want something synthetic. I like the pants with the zip off legs, then I have the option of shorts without extra weight.
Your shirt, NOT COTTON! Something synthetic, beyond this it's not rocket science.
Your underwear, NOT COTTON! You will sweat, cotton will absorb the sweat, things start rubbing, pretty soon you are waddling down the trail with a painful look on your face and we hear screams of pain when you walk into the woods with the pool shovel. You want a synthetic material that will wick water away from your body. Trust me on this......
You don't need to pack a set of clothes for each day. At most bring a set of clothes to hike in and a set of clothes to change into at camp. Then when you start hiking switch back to your hiking clothes. I do tend to bring underwear for every day though.
