Rain Gear

To a certain extent if it rains you get wet. There are a few things you can do to keep yourself from getting soaked. If you're just starting out, just get a cheap poncho. After you're ready to spend some money on gear, get some good rain gear. It's expensive, but it's light and does a better job of keeping you dry. Breathable materials such as Gore-Tex will also allow moisture to escape from inside, so you don't get soaked from your own sweat.
